Adequate Storage Space: This may fluctuate depending on a person's lifestyle, but if you’re going on a road trip, you need a car that can handle luggage and lots of it.
Comfort: Having a family, or a few buddies in the car for a long period of time, means that the car must be spacious and comfortable to seat more than one passenger.
Safety: This is a huge concern, especially when road trips are a consideration, as you are on the road for long periods of time. The car should be reliable, and have a good collision test rating.
